About TLC Pet Haven
Many wanted to know a little bit about TLC Pet haven so we have provided a brief summary for you! TLC is located in Sutton Massachusetts and we are a dog and cat boarding kennel, offering professional pet grooming in our shop or in one of our mobile grooming vans and Doggie Daycare with both indoor and outdoor romping areas! We are family owned and operated and have been in business for over 30 years! Many of our staff has been with us for a lot of that time so we are experienced and knowledgeable people whose first concern is the quality of care that your pet receives. We take the TLC out of our name and spread around the Tender Lovin’ Care! We treat your pet like one of our family.
TLC started as a little grooming shop on Elm St in Millbury in 1978 then moved to a small kennel on Uxbridge Rd in Sutton. We purchased our 1st mobile Groom-In-Van in 1986. The concept was new to New England and our business was featured on Boston Channel 4’s “Evening Magazine”. Our reputation grew from there until we were able to purchase the property at our present location on Route 146 in 1990. Since then, we went from 8 employees to more than 30! In 2005 we opened our Doggie Daycare and have had such a positive response that we added a second floor to our large kennel building which houses 2 indoor arenas and 6 elite overnight suites. The indoor area is used by Doggie Daycare when the weather outside is less desirable! We have added a new Cattery building that offers various suite opportunities!
Besides keeping TLC running smoothly, Bill generally grooms in one of the groom-in-vans and oversees the other vans while Denise teaches Grooming and Kennel Management courses at Becker College. Our son, Eryk is a groomer, our daughter Marissa and her husband Ron help out part time and our daughter Trista’s allergies to dogs has not stopped her from supporting us and helping out when she is needed!

TLC offers a wide variety of services including in-shop grooming as well as in-van grooming at your home. Our boarding facilities serves top of the line pet foods and offers playtime, social hour and other individualized services. We have 6 Luxury Suites complete with flat screen TV’s!
We offer doggie daycare, grooming (shop/mobile), & boarding. In our store we sell, pet supplies, including, brushes, combs, collars, leashes, shampoos, and toys. We carry flea and tick control products, including Frontline and Advantix 2. We also sell crates, stuffed animals and sweaters/jackets. We service most of Worcester County and the Blackstone Valley.
